Depuis longtemps les Israéliens méprisent les juifs de la diaspora, qu’ils considèrent comme des mauviettes, des poules mouillées, trop fainéants pour venir vivre (et se battre) dans la “patrie juive”. Mais l’impérialisme – Israël est le dernier spécimen de cette espèce en voie de disparition – nécessite une croissance continue, toujours plus de corps à exploiter, pour combattre l’ennemi, pour s’imposer. Il a aussi besoin d’exploiter financièrement d’autres pays et de terroriser ses ennemis pour prospérer. C’est pourquoi Israël ne reniera jamais les traîtres, les « expatriés ». Ils lui fournissent quelques recrues, au compte-gouttes (l’« antisémitisme » est là pour ça) et se rendent utiles en soutirant des milliards de dollars aux USA (sans oublier l’Allemagne).
Mais l’impérialisme exige aussi une identité nationale fanatique et chauvine pour armer psychologiquement sa machine à tuer. C’est ce qui a donné, aux 19e et 20e siècles, à la Grande-Bretagne sa britannité, à l’Allemagne sa germanité, et aux USA leur « américanité ».
Aujourd’hui nos États postmodernes ont perdu de leur éclat. Néerlandais, Belge, Canadien, Luxembourgeois…, qui s’en soucie ? Mais « Américain », Israélien…, voilà qui vous fait frissonner, soit de peur, soit d’enthousiasme. Israël n’a pas de véritable nationalité, seulement des ethnies : des juifs et des arabes dans le cadre d’un État juif. Pas de place pour une « nationalité ».

How do you assess the situation in Syria? What do you make of the on-again off-again accusations of chemical weapons?
The US, French and British have effectively invaded Syria in order to overthrow the Syrian government after six fruitless years of arming and training rebels and inflicting 'advisers' and NGOs as part of their policy of subversion. This new boldness in promoting the imperial agenda worries the entire world from Russia, to China and Iran, and many in the West itself, where demonstrations have sprung up in the past few weeks as the US ramps up its campaign to topple Syrian President Assad.
The latest gas is actually an Israeli one, which was tested in the Gazans' Great March of Return in April.
